A GoogleVery good. But.... the Clear Map button is far, far to close to the Marker button. I use this to record bus routes for drivers and managed to lose a route today towards the end when the accidentally hit clear map. No confirmation message. it just clears the lot. gutted. please update the app if ONLY to add a confirmation dialogue or put the Marker button next to record/pause/stop. other than that, brilliant app!May 21, 2025 09:15:47

KMar 4x4x4THIS IS SO AMAZING AND HELPFUL - In learning new routes for my job, it has been so helpful. It shows any route I record, and shows my current position, to determine if I'm off course. Haven't used it for personal routes yet, but I'm excited about the possibilities. I feel like I will never get lost again. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because sometimes it will stop recording my route when I try to drop a pin/marker. Overall, it has been wonderful and easy to use!May 21, 2025 01:01:02

A GoogleSo happy to see this updated. This is one of the simplest yet well designed gps tracking and waypoint apps for android. Is intuitive and reliable. Still have to use other apps to point/navigate to a specific waypoint but for recording a track and marking waypoints it always works and never lets me down. J. G.Was very good, though sometimes lost GPS lock. Since upgrading to Android 10, this app continues to soil itself, even With a GPS locking app running in the background. I've set all appropriate Android settings to keep it running in the foreground and it Still craps out 3/4 of the time. I used this app for many years, but I've had enough. I'm out. Peter ThomsonExcellent. It has proved very reliable for location and deserves the 5 stars. I am now using instead of viewranger to record every track. Need to to start a new map each day before starting recording. I would much prefer to be able to use the free maps from hike bike or the other open source maps. A GoogleWorked great till I got a new phone.. No good with my Samsung Note 9. Now it counts the TIME but won't measure distance or course when the screen is blanked. So as long as I hold it in my hand, burning battery life with screen on, it's just fine. As soon as I blank the screen, it stops measuring course and distance- only the timer/stopwatch continues.
